Billing activities repeated monthly, but no one had a clear view of how tasks overlapped across the cycle. Teams felt constantly busy, yet leadership couldn’t see whether the workload was evenly distributed or if personnel capacity was already maxed out.
What I did
1. Mapped all billing-related processes within a billing cycle.
2. Identified task frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, ad-hoc).
3. Built a Gantt-style timeline showing task duration and overlaps across the month.
4. Used the timeline to visualize whether the full month was fully occupied or if there was recovery time built in.
Tools I Used
1. Microsoft Exce-based Gantt Chart.
2. Process frequency mapping.
3. Capacity and workload visualization.

Result
1. I exposed capacity risk. Clear visibility of workload peaks and bottlenecks.
2. “Busy lang talaga” is not just a statement anymore. I showed, when they’re busy, why, and whether the month is already fully consumed.
3. Data-backed conversations on staffing, sequencing, and realistic deadlines. There is now reference for personnel requisition.
4. Early identification of over-allocated periods.
5. Improved team sustainability by identifying whether there was actual “breathing room” in the cycle.
Best for
1. Enterprises and big companies handling bulk data.
2. Teams with chronic workplace stress.
3. Consulting companies in Finance shared-services.
How I Worked
1. Observed the real process because I am on the ground with the people doing the process. Not the organization chart.
2. Identified the process, its timeline of processing, due dates and people involved.
3. Simplified the report to a Gantt chart for easy visibility.
