A quick escape to the beach was not so hard to achieve. For two (2) and a half hours one-way drive from Manila, we went to Ternate Cavite.
Katungkulan Beach

Entrance Fee: 100
No parking Fee
Cottage: Php 750/ 500/ 350 / 150
Total Expense: Php 4,000 includes the following,
Toll Fee 1 way,Cavitex to Manila – Php 120 (estimate only)
Food (for 6) – Php 1,500
Gas – Php 1,200
Cottage – Php 500
Admission Fee – Php 600
Note:
- The following are not allowed due to safety reasons.
a. Foreign guests
b. Bonfire - Afternoon tide carries all the trash from other islands to the beach so imagine weeds and bottles scattered at the beach in the afternoon.
- The beach is accessible through a marine base so there are no available contact number. Imagine Marines taking your calls!
- Overnight stay depends on the day of the visit. (Not recommended)
- A store is available close to the beach with coffee, rice, and stuff you would probably need for the trip.
- Water refill station is also available by the beach.
- Restrooms may be disappointing.
- Charging of electronic devices is possible on the center hall but with limited number of sockets.

The place is not a resort so please do not judge. It’s more than enough that they receive guests who wanted to stay for a day.

Hello Myrna. They may have changed their rates but that’s what we got on our last visit.
