We went to Subic Zambales on New Year’s Eve of 2025. One of the easy go to places for us because we have now an almost 7 months old baby boy. A quick trip is also what I need to decompress from all the hustle and bustle of the Metro Manila.
3 Things I Like About Treasure Island of Baloy Long Beach at Subic Philippines
1. The resort and restaurant is less than 3.5 hours from Manila.
I like that I could go home in just a few hours and that it’s a if I was just stuck in heavy traffic in Makati going home. No matter how ironic it may sound, it’s a fact. Lol
2. I like the Filipino breakfast served at the restaurant.
I like breakfast and having a meal with my family at the sunny beach front restaurant was more than enough to make me happy. They also have good coffee in a quirky mug. Probably good souvenirs from local shops.
3. Good service
Nothing beats this. I’ve tried local eateries, high end restaurants, and many average go to spots. They may all serve good food in a good place but nothing beats a good service. I remember the waitress saying “ang breakfast na madaming tanong” when we asked to be served with Filipino breakfast.
