It is easy to just sit and watch on TV how our fellow humans fall in love, travel, bicker at one another, and fall in love again. All following a fictional story.
One of my high school friends asked about a recommendation of what to watch next. I’m so eager to send this list to her. Enjoy watching Joy.
1. When the Weather is Fine (I’ll Go To You When the Weather is Fine)
The setting is in the countryside of Gangwon Province during winter. Bookworms would surely love the slow pace of the drama full of roller-coaster emotions. It is not easy to figure out what will happen next that made it one of the kind stories. In short, unpredictable. I’ll stop now before I spill every good moment in the drama.
Main characters: Park Min Young (What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?) Seo Kang Joon (Are you Human?)
Trivia: Do you know that white spongy lining between a citrus peel and fruit? (Oo, try mo magbalat ng orange. Iyong puting hibla at sponge na inaalis natin bago kainin ‘yong prutas.) What is it called? Watch the drama and you will know! Bawal magtanong kay google.

2. Forest
What captured me is the sustainable shared house in the story. There is also a remote hospital that caters medical service to a small village. The river, the trees, the mountain scene are all captivating. It’s like restarting your love for nature.

3. Are You Human Too? (in other channels, Are You Human?)
Are you interested in robots? Do you think it would be easy to fall in love with a robot? It sounds ridiculous but will you feel the same if the robot acts more like a human than an actual one?

4. Uncontrollably Fond
My heart was confused, amused, fluttered, crushed, and fluttered again. The story totally sent me in an emotional turmoil. I had to give Kim Woo Bin a trillion hearts for his great acting as a cancer patient in the late stage. His physique almost made my eyes pop out!

5. Encounter
Who has not heard of Song Hye Kyo in Descendants of the Sun? In this one, she troubled me how free I am to love someone I like. Her partner in the story, Park Bo Gum, also left an unfading adorable smile in my head. He looked really in love with Hye Kyo in the drama and made it difficult to forget. One great act.
The setting also enticed me to go to Cuba’s Malecon Beach! I will surely hit “book” once the COVID -19 pandemic is over.
