Creative Reuse of Fabric by Many Filipino

Ly 0

REUSE. REPURPOSE. I remember reading an article about an old couple. A reporter asked them, “How did you manage to stay together for 65 years?” The woman replied, “We were born in a time when if something was broken, we would fix it, not throw it away. ” This went straight through my heart.

Many little things in our daily life can be illustrated in the same way. Take, for example, old clothing that is sitting in our cabinets. Most, for sure, are still in good condition but with just little tear, holes or just missing a button. Filipinos amazingly took this to heart and reuse old clothes and gave them a new life.
