I said I don’t want to get married, but I did. I said I don’t want to bear a child, but I did.
I’m now married. I now have a baby. Both are significant milestones. These may be different from my ideas, but I am glad that I realized that it is okay to change minds. It is okay to change my mind.
I know that it sounds like I am defining my actions now, but it is okay. To my younger self, we do what we can to maneuver through life and as long as we know how to be rational when it is time to crunch then we will be okay.
Life often surprises us, and our paths may differ from what we once imagined. Yet it’s in these unexpected moments that we discover new strengths and perspectives. We evolve and adapt. I remember Rolf Dobelli saying “Thinking is hard.” in his book The Art of Thinking Clearly. I must agree. So, it’s okay to change our mind, embrace the journey, with all its challenges and joys.
Appreciation
I appreciate you for reading this. Are you a mother too? What helps me these days is to create something that fulfills my soul. I create little crochet projects such as designs for paper clips. I recently designed a backing card that you can download for editing and printing through Canva (FREE TEMPLATE) for free. Well, if you have a need for it. Hugs, moms.
