Crazy satisfied. It is what I felt every single time I ate a bowl of good Tonkotsu Ramen.
I’m no expert in ramen but when I see and tasted a good one it’s definitely something to go back to. Yeye’s Tonkotsu is one of those. A bowl is worth Php 150. A good bowl for Php 150? Unbelievable? Well, surprise! Yeye’s tonkotsu broth was milky and richly flavored. It was topped with a slice of thin pork, a half of good soft boiled egg and a simple vegetable. The bowl was finished with thin noodles.
What was even more surprising was their good service. I remember a young lady, Mariel, who was always there to greet us with smile. I also love the fact that they do not add service charge on the bill. Yey! Sulit!
I remember the first table we sat in by the window. I remember the first bowl of Tonkotsu. Two, three. I still go back. Every sip of broth, every slurp of noodles made me happy. Made me more crazy.
More ramen!
